Episcopal’s Director of Operations Will York III, Class of 1981, has earned the designation of LEED Accredited Professional.

The US Green Building Council describes the LEED Professional Accreditation process as, “building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System.”

Will’s certification represents an important step forward in the “greening” of Episcopal’s campus. It is highly unusual to have a LEED AP on staff, and we are proud of his accomplishment.
