Two Episcopal seniors have been recognized by the National Achievement Scholarship Program based on their performance on the PSAT/NMSQT. Tynika Thomas has been named a semifinalist in the 2008 National Achievement Scholarship competition. Tynika is the daughter of Ms. Monika Wright. Devin Tempton has been named a 2008 National Achievement Outstanding Participant. Devin is the daughter of Willie and Fatrice Tempton.

The Achievement Program is a privately financed academic competition initiated in 1964 to honor outstanding African American students and to increase their educational opportunities.
