Five members of Episcopal’s Highsteppers dance team were named All Stars during a Universal Dance Association Camp held at Episcopal June 4-7.

Kelsey Clark, Caroline Forbes, Melanie Horvilleur, Caroline Rieger and Ryann Roussel earned the All Star honor, which qualifies them to attend the Varsity Spirit parade in London over New Year’s.

The Highsteppers also earned the Superior Trophy and blue ribbons for their performance of the four dances they learned at camp. The UDA instructor was LSU Tiger Girl Ashley Geig.

In addition to the dances, the Highsteppers received personal attention in technique, team building activities and stand dances.

The team is sponsored by Michelle Chenevert and Brittany Weatherbie.
