Episcopal’s boys and girls cross country teams swept the Class 2A state championships on Nov. 14 in Natchitoches.

The boys, coached by Claney Duplechin, won their 11th straight state title and 19th of the last 21 years. Three Episcopal runners finished in the top 10: Jared Chapman, Nick Breaux and Trent Dunbar.

The girls, coached by Butch Helveston, won their third straight state title. They were led by top 10 finishes from Caitlin Hodges, Brittany Culotta and Abby Ter Haar.
