Two Episcopal students were selected for the Louisiana Music Educators Association State Choir, the top honor choir in Louisiana.

Madeleine Patrick, an alto, and Erin Kirchoff, a soprano, earned the honor. The choir will perform in Monroe on Feb. 25.

The students were selected after two rounds of auditions. In the first audition in November, the girls placed in the top five in their voice part among Baton Rouge area students. In the second round of auditions in December, the girls were selected in their voice parts from the top five from all the districts in the state.
