Lower School art teacher Kate Trepagnier’s painting “Solstice Light” was selected for display at the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion. Her work was chosen based on a juried competition of submitted slides.

The painting will be on display in the Governor’s Mansion from November until April 2006. The competition was sponsored by the Circle of Friends for the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion.

Ms. Trepagnier is also scheduled to participate in a show at LeMieux Galleries on Julia Street in New Orleans in October 2006 for the Art for Art Sake celebration.
