This is required for families who will be using Extended Care services on an occasional basis as well as for those who will take advantage of our services daily. Extended Care hours will be from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm on regular school days.

Option 1: Pre-Paid/Pre-Registration Program
• $250 per student for the academic year

• Form and payment due by August 1, 2008
• Late pick-up fees of $1.00 per minute will be billed as applicable

To be eligible for the program rates, the enrollment forms, payment, and hold harmless statements must be received in the Business Office no later than August 1, 2008.

Please note that if your application and/or payment is not received by the program enrollment deadline, use of the Extended Care program will be billed under option 2.

OR

Option 2 : Pay-As-You-Go Program
• $10 per visit per student
• Maximum billing limit equal to $450 per student or $650 per family, whichever is less
• Late pick-up fees of $1.00 per minute will be billed as applicable.

You must complete an enrollment form available from the business office.

Authorized Adults
We have a list of adults who are authorized to pick up each student, including carpool drivers. Please contact Casie Burley, giving her your child's name and the adults you'd like on the list. burleyc@ehsbr.org or 753-3180 x 1137.

Tardy Students

When children arrive late (7:50 am or later) a parent or other adult must walk in with them and sign in, using the book in the office. Students should obtain a Tardy Slip before going to class. Morning Meeting begins promptly at 7:50 am and all students are expected to be in attendance. We ask that students arrive by 7:40 to give them time to put their book sacks away before Morning Meeting begins.

Lower School Cell Phone Policy
Please read the policy regarding cell phone use by Lower School students. If your child has a cell phone at school, he/she must sign the permission notice.

Reporting Absences and Late Arrivals
Please let us know in advance when your child will be absent or late. We need to have an accurate account of all students. You can email or call the office. Casie Burley will then pass the message on to the teacher(s). If you choose to notify the teacher, you should cc Casie Burley. If the teacher is absent, your message may not be received otherwise. In order to minimize classroom disruption, we ask parents to report to the lower school office to check out their children.

Change in After-School Arrangements
We know there will be times when your child's after-school arrangements will change. To ensure the safety of the child and to become aware of these changes, please call or email Casie Burley. We will make sure the message is delivered to the teacher.

Visitors: Please Sign In
Please stop by the Lower School Office when you arrive on campus to obtain a Visitor's Pass. Passes are also available in the Alumni House, Upper School Office, and Middle School Office. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Lower School secretary, Casie Burley, can be reached at 753-3180 ext. 1137 or Burleyc@ehsbr.org. Cheryl Ollmann, Division Head, is at extension 1111 or Ollmannc@ehsbr.org. The Lower School fax number is 756-2754.
