6th Grade English builds language proficiency through literary
composition, vocabulary development, grammar exploration,
and analytical reading in a variety of genres. The course
utilizes a literature anthology, a grammar text, and novels
for the integration of skills in reading, writing, language
usage and critical thinking.
We welcome Dr. Nancy Delahaye who has returned to Episcopal
to substitute for Mrs. Guarisco throughout her maternity leave.
Dr. Delahaye is an experienced teacher who taught several
years in the science department here in our Upper School prior
to the birth of her son. Mrs. Guarisco has left extensive
lesson plans with Dr. Delahaye so that there will be no disruption
in her curriculum. You may contact Dr. Delahaye directly through
her e-mail account at delahayen@ehsbr.org.
Mrs. Guarisco will be back with her 6th grade students following
the Mardi Gras holiday in January.
