Welcome to Mrs. Chenevert's Exploring Video Technology
Seventh and Eighth Grade
Course Description:

Exploring Video Technology is an Enrichment class designed to familiarize students with various video hardware and software.  Students will have the chance to work with scanners, digital cameras, video cameras, and VCR's during this class.  They will create a video using the various technology provided in class and edit it with Adobe Premiere.

Adobe Premiere is a program that brings the world of digital movie making to the desktop.  Premiere lets you record, create, and play video programs using video, sound, animations, photographs, drawings, text, and other material on your PC.  Premiere also lets you output video programs to videotape, DVD or the Internet!

Each student will have a DVD with scanned pictures and music as a final product.  Also, students will work in groups to organize information and gather ideas about a special topics video in which they will produce, film, and edit. All students will have a copy to take home on DVD.
