UDA
Camp:
The Episcopal Highsteppers
dance team participated in a private UDA
camp held at Episcopal June 4th - 7th. UDA
Instructor and LSU Tiger Girl, Ashley Geig,
taught the team four dances which will be
performed during the year. The team also
received personal attention in stretching,
technique, team building activities, and
stand dances.
The Highsteppers performed the dances they
learned for their families in the Greer
Center on the last day of camp. They earned
Blue Superior ribbons for their performances
as well as the Superior Trophy.
The Highsteppers also held a Drill Down
competition and Melanie Horvilleur won the
"Drill Down Queen" award.
Kelsey Clark, Caroline Forbes, Melanie Horvilleur,
Caroline Rieger, and Ryann Roussell were
all selected for All Stars, which qualifies
them to attend the Varsity Spirit parade
in London over New Years.

American
All-Star Dance Team Competition:
The Highsteppers competed
in the American All-Star Dance Competition
January 14th, 2007. They competed in Division
II Jazz and Division II Pom. They received
Superior Trophies for their performances.
